Born and raised in Spain and based in New York City, I was originally trained in Environmental Science before transitioning into fashion and costume design. I hold a Master’s degree in Fashion Accessories Design from Istituto Europeo di Design and later completed the Costume Design and Wardrobe Technician Specialist Certificate Program at Fashion Institute of Technology after relocating to New York.
Since then, I have worked extensively across theater and film in costume, wardrobe, props, and production design. Over the past several years, I have maintained an ongoing collaboration with LaGuardia Community College as a Costume Designer, designing costumes for multiple theatrical productions and contributing to the development of emerging performers and productions within the college’s theater program. Several of these productions were selected for the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF).
Most recently, I served as Costume Designer for the play Someone Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest by Dale Wasserman at Studio 17, directed by Francisco Solorzano and produced by The Playground NYLA, Barefoot Theatre Co, and Pontifex Production. With the same creative team and venue, I also worked as Wardrobe Supervisor and Props Coordinator for the play Four Dogs and a Bone.
My film work includes serving as Costume Designer and Production Designer for AEIOU-Z, a music video for Lena Park directed by South Korean filmmaker Kary H. Sarrey, a project currently in development as a feature film. I also worked as Costume Designer on the short film Notes from El Barrio, written by Ernesto Quiñonez and directed by Mark DiStefano.
Alongside my work in costume and production design, I continuously create small collage pieces as an instinctive and immediate creative practice. My artwork has been featured in group exhibitions throughout Spain and the United States.
